What "specialized" actually means for vapor barrier installation at our company — not a marketing word, a set of specific practices.
Installing a barrier without understanding vapor drive direction can trap moisture in the wrong place — every installation is designed around your specific conditions.
Trucks carry sample barrier materials at multiple mil-thicknesses so you can see and feel the difference during the estimate.
No surprise charges for vent covers or termination strips needed to complete a proper installation.
Wall applications use dimple-board rated for vertical below-grade application, not repurposed floor material.
We don't run a one-size-fits-all playbook — every vapor barrier installation job starts from these core service components, adapted to what your property actually needs.
Barrier is run up piers and foundation walls, not just laid flat, since ground moisture can wick up unsealed vertical surfaces just as easily.
Dimple-board membrane creates an air gap against the foundation wall, allowing incidental moisture to drain down to a collection point instead of wicking into finished wall assemblies.
We heat-tape or mechanically seal every seam and use proper termination strips at wall transitions, following manufacturer spec exactly.
Each pier is individually wrapped and sealed to the main barrier so the system performs as one continuous vapor block.
Proper termination at wall-floor transitions prevents the barrier edge from curling or separating over time.
Four steps, start to finish — from your call to a sealed, tested vapor barrier system.
Assessments are typically scheduled within a few days across Pineville, KY.
You'll get a text confirmation with your arrival window.
We measure the full space and take baseline humidity readings to establish what improvement to expect post-installation.
Vapor barrier installations carry a written warranty against seam separation and material failure.
